My star is Burning Out!In the early days of network marketing opportunities a favorite prospecting technique of super recruiters was cold calling. As floods of phone phobic home business leads users entered the scene a new industry was born … the auto dialer, or “robocall”. While lead generation companies loved this, “salesman” deluged citizens screamed for the “do-not-call” list to rein in these relentless machines.

To understand where the future of automated telemarketing list prospecting is headed let’s take a look at the progression of it’s regulation by federal governmental agencies.

1. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the start of federal regulation of telecommunications was instituted in 1991.
2. In 1992 the FCC began requiring telemarketers to keep a do-not-call list for their company specific lists solicitation. These are known as the first Do Not Call Rules.
3. By 2003 these rules were superseded by the Telemarketing and Consumer Fraud and Abuse Prevention Act passed by Congress, which lead to the FTC instituting the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR).
4. The FTC, with cooperation from the FCC through regulatory revisions, produced the National Do Not Call Registry. Some of these revised rules included restrictions on the use of auto dialers.
5. On June 2008 the previous 5 year hold imposed upon numbers placed on the do-not-call list was commuted to permanent status.
6. Announced August 2008 and instituted on September 1, 2009, federal
regulations governing telemarketing known as the Telemarketing Sales Rule (“TSR”) took on the full force and effect of law.

Violators of these new robotic dialing laws are subject to both civil suits by private citizens targeted by them as business leads as well as legal action by the FCC and the FTC. In addition, anyone Robocalling a sales lead list without written proof of opt-in permission from everyone dialed may face fines up to $16,000 per violation.

Exempted entities include: “informational” calls relaying notices related to things like a child’s school schedule, airline flight updates, and debt collections that don’t induce any purchase. Most health care messages and charitable organizations as well as any calls from banks, politicians, and telephone companies are also unaffected.

Robocalling was intended to take the fear out of converting cold prospects to warm targeted leads. With new restrictions which ban contacting anyone who has not specifically asked to be contacted by a system that dials sales lead lists automatically, including those already known to the user, and those whose 5-year hold on the Do-Not-Call Registry is expired, few options remain for the mechanical business opportunity leads prospector.

This regulatory trend points to more residual income seekers learning the best method for building a list that eliminates phone fear, and converts cold contacts to buyers. This new business leads attraction method focuses on relationship building.

Content Traffic Generator – The Pros’ Choice

Balanced Traffic AheadEveryone with a web site to get traffic to their offer agrees they need traffic tools to create a

targeted visitor stream to increase web site traffic. A common question about how to

increase web traffic with targeted visitors is, “Which traffic generator should I use?”

Professionals know increasing web traffic with a traffic booster that produces massive

traffic is the solution.

There are many ways to get website traffic such as:

1. Free Traffic – traffic exchanges, free targeted traffic from online classifieds, and website

traffic promotion via social networks.
2. Buy Web Site Traffic – buy web traffic from a traffic reseller, and Google Adwords pay

per click web site traffic optimization.

Most pros use many or all of these site traffic techniques because they can attract targeted

website visitors. But for more web traffic that’s not enough. Increasing website traffic

requires something more.

Net savvy folk know that to really draw more web site traffic it is essential to have a way to

regularly generate web traffic. How do they bring reliable targeted traffic to their sites?

Syndication, manual or automated, can generate traffic, unique traffic, consistently. Some

get website traffic manually through several social news and bookmarking sites like

Digg.com or SocialMedian.com. Though slow it can get website traffic. Alternatively,

automated service speeds the process to improve website traffic. Examples are:

1. OnlyWire.com – a free website traffic promotion download that can help build traffic

briefly. Only Wire artificially creates online traffic until the search engines detect no social

buzz (others submitting your stuff). To improve website traffic buzz is key.
2. iBusinessPromoter.com – a very expensive way to buy targeted traffic ($250 to $500 +

additional tools). IBP offers guaranteed website traffic and search engine traffic through

SEO, but it’s not cheap traffic, and there’s no community buzz.
3. Synnd.com – offers a free or paid service that can dramatically increase traffic to your

website. Either service can increase traffic to your site. Here’s 4 reasons to target traffic with

SYNND:

A. Other SYNND users are submitting your work so you get more web site traffic.
B. In turn you submit other system users content to increase web traffic to their sites.
C. All users get social buzz and thus get more website traffic.
D. A community of users bookmarking other’s content prevents claims of abuse “to increase

site traffic”.

You can buy traffic to increase traffic to your web site and make others rich, or do it

naturally and affordably and not buy website traffic that’s useless. For traffic to my website I

choose the a system that gives the best of both worlds. I choose the traffic generator that

creates cmmunity buzz and won’t get my bookmarking accounts terminated. SYNND can

help you get website traffic affordably, naturally, massively, and safely.

It is against the Law to send Your offer to a OPT-IN Lead that You
bought or were gifted the lead as a bonus to join some company..

Did YOU understand what You just read ? NO, then Read it again ?

You cannot buy an OPT-IN lead of ANY kind from ANYONE then
send them Your Offer because they did NOT OPT-IN for Your Offer
they Opted-IN for the Offer that the Lead seller was offering.

If You send Your Offer to them You are guilty of SPAM and You
will be prosecuted under the Law that YOU broke.. Mentoring For

Damages of $750.00 per day.

The letter from the Go Daddy Spam and Abuse Department will
add some clarity to the “LAW” You may be guilty of breaking..

This letter was the result of someone joining GDI and was given

Dear Michael Dlouhy,

We have charged the $199 fee to the credit card on file for your
account. GoDaddy will consider you a participant in our Abuse
Enforcement Program (also known as Go Daddy’s AEP Program).

There are a few actions you can take to ensure that everything
goes smoothly.

1. Log into your Go Daddy account and change the administrative
contact for each domain name to the email address you submitted
as the primary contact, ABUSE@MichaelDlouhy.com and
change the technical contact for each domain name to the
address you submitted as the secondary contact,
Mentor51@tampabay.rr.com.

This will ensure that you receive all warning messages. You
can modify your entire list of domain names at once (contact
Go Daddy’s Customer Service Department at support@
supportwebsite.com or 480-505-8877 if you need help).

2. Check your email client software (Outlook, Outlook Express,
Eudora, Thunderbird, etc) to ensure that the “Customer Warning”
messages are not being filtered by any type of anti-spam feature
that your particular email client my employ.

The “Customer Warning” messages you receive are auto-
generated, many spam filters will not allow the delivery of
auto generated messages. Most email clients will allow you
to “whitelist” email messages from individual domain names
or email addresses so that any message from a whitelisted
domain name or email address is delivered. GoDaddy.com,
SecureServer.net, DomainsByProxy.com, abuse@godaddy.
com, support@godaddy.com, abuse@secureserver.net,
support@secureserver.net, abuse@domainsbyproxy.com,
and support@domainsbyproxycom should be whitelisted.

You should not have any problems since you have responded
to the warnings you have received so far, but you may want to
keep this in mind if you make any changes.

3. Monitor these addresses diligently and responding to any
warning messages. If the “Customer Warning” messages you
receive go unanswered for longer than 5 days the domain in
question is suspended. I would strongly recommend that you
assign someone the task of checking these addresses each
day and answering any warning messages immediately.

The subject lines for these warnings are hard to miss, they will
look like this: CUSTOMER WARNING – BIGMLMLIES.COM.

4. Implement some type of control or procedure that will
enable you to easily monitor and police your clients. Many
customers utilize a naming convention of some sort that
places an ID# or Ad# within the referral URL that will identify
the sender of the message. You may already have some
sort of payment system in place for identifying your clients;
many AEP participants tie this into their advertisement
identification or tracking scheme.

5. Notify your clients/affiliates that you are paying special
attention to this potential problem. Place a “No Spam” policy
on your site and/or notify your clients via email of this new
commitment to enforce this policy.

6. Set up an email inbox for your domain name so you can
receive complaints at Abuse@Your domain name.

From this point forward Go Daddy will supply your company
with each complaint we receive in order to allow you to enforce
Go Daddy’s anti-spam policy. All that we ask is that you
terminate the services of any individual that cannot provide
conclusive proof of prior consent to receive the offending
message. Conclusive proof of prior consent can be provided
by supplying the information outlined below.

1. Your clients/affiliate will need to provide server logs showing
when the complainant connected to your clients/affiliates site
and subscribed, opted-in, or consented to receive marketing
information from your clients/affiliates. This information must
include the following:

* Time/Date of opt-in/subscription/consent.
* IP address of the web server the complainant used to
connect to your site.
* Referral URL.

2. Your clients/affiliate will need to provide a detailed explanation
of how the example email address was obtained, your clients/
affiliates are encouraged to provide a copy of any confirmation
messages, complete with header information that this individual
sent to your clients/affiliates when they consented to receive
marketing information from their company.

3. In addition to the information outlined above, your clients/
affiliate will need to forward all contact information they have
for this individual along with any other relevant information
that they feel supports their claim of prior consent.

We will then investigate the validity of the information that
your clients/affiliates provide. The complainant may be
contacted to verify and/or confirm any contact information
or subscription details. If the information your clients/affiliates
provide checks out, we can probably consider these situations
an example where the complainant may have forgotten they
consented to receive your client/affiliates message.

Remember you can always email abuse@godaddy.com or
telephone 480-624-2505 if you have any questions.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Spam and Abuse Department

MLM Lead Generation – Got Enough Tools?

"WHAT? The radar is down?"I’m not a military communications expert, but during my 3 years Navy service I did learn a bit about the systems used to convey messages aboard ships and their importance. The most obvious connection between MLM lead generation and the messaging methods on a military vessel is in the sheer volume of tools. These tools keep the machine running.

Military maneuvers require a steady flow of information. Without this critical flow of intelligence communications break down, operations stop, and ultimately the opposition can quickly gain the upper hand and eventually prevail.

The USS Nimitz for example uses three levels of information transmission techniques.

1. High Tech: real time audio video feed (flight deck operations), radios, radar, sonar, satellite, encrypted telephones, encrypted messaging printers, and ship-to-air craft landing guidance systems (lights).

2. Low Tech: ship board telephones, “1-MC” (ship wide intercom), tower-to-flight deck loud speaker, sound powered phones (non-electric).

3. No Tech: couriers or “runners”, ship-to-ship signals (lights, flags),, Air craft-to-ship/air craft maneuvers (wing dips, hand signals), flight deck crew hand signals.

Some of these are used more than others because of their greater efficiency, but when systems go down the old stand bys are put into action. This practice of layered systems has saved many lives that would have been lost if just one system were available.

MLM pros know that having more than one or two lead generating tools is just as important to their survival. When one MLM prospecting system goes down they don’t worry because another one is already in place to keep placing qualified leads in their sales funnel.

Everyone knows that network marketing lead flow is the life blood of this business. Even so, some folks use just one network marketing lead generation method, instead of the recommended two or three, to keep their arteries flowing with that life giving stuff.

The problem here is using prospecting leads tools, like military operations, is a very fluid thing. If back ups are not in place, then a technical problem can stop your qualified lead supply cold.

Recently Twitter users were locked out due to a Denial Of Service. This affected all users because the entire system was shut down. This caused such an uproar as to prompt several articles on the topic. Rest assured those well versed in network marketing lead list building were not among the panicked crowd.

Here are some prospecting tools pros use.

1. High Tech: syndication software, video sharing sites, social media sites, traffic exchanges, safe list sites, RSS feeds.

2. Low Tech: telephone. email, fax, CDs, DVDs.

3. No Tech: business fairs, news paper/magazine ads, live seminars, home meetings, one minute presentations, opportunity brochures, product brochures/fliers, product sampling, product referrals.

MLM lead generation companies make millions because most people in this industry learn this lesson too late and then come to them in desperation. Leaders know the MLM lead company industry is a scam so they take the lesson to heart and never let their funnel run dry.

"You gota know HOW t' hold 'em."Most leaders in MLM admit team retention can be challenging. On the other hand, every network marketing professional knows the motivation techniques that help them keep the downline distributors they worked so hard to attract to their business on their team.

Here are some of the motivational techniques some sponsors use:

1. Sales seminar events
2. Techniques skills exercises
3. Presentation techniques drills
4. Sales training courses
5. Motivation articles
6. Sales seminars
7. Motivation education
8. News letters with motivation tips
9. “How To’s” on inviting people to sales presentations
10. Prospect personality assessment techniques
11. Sales Training program development techniques
12. Sales and recruiting achievement awards
13. NLP motivation psychology to develop good techniques
14. Daily motivation in the form of self-talk
15. Company convention business motivation campaigns
16. Coaching techniques with a focus on motivation training

All of these motivational training methods can be effective at developing downline confidence and staying power … provided they are accompanied by two much more important team motivation skills.

A. Target Marketing – most successful network marketing leaders sponsor motivated prospects …and then focus on developing their own mentoring work techniques to avoid de-motivating them.

B. Automated Information Systems – another method to maintain downline group excitement is to keep information delivery simple. Recognize there is a learning curve and act accordingly. Information overload can discourage even the most dedicated newcomer.

A sure way to throw entrepreneurs in training into an emotional flat spin that even Top Gun’s Maverick could not recover from is to hit them the first day with:

- Products
- The compensation plan
- How to place orders
- How to take customer orders
- Who to contact for questions
- How and where to find prospects
- What slick rejection-free things to say to prospects
- Etc., etc., etc.

Most professional MLMers use an auto-responder to deliver that large amount of critical information in small bite size chunks over a number of days. A 21 day cycle of daily emails can give reps plenty of time to pick up the basics and keep their spirits high.

Proper use of an auto-responder can be a simple, effective, and inexpensive business motivation and training tool. Plus, once it’s set-up the hard work goes on auto-pilot. So, up and coming downline members who see how simple this works will move smoothly toward duplicating success.

There are many motivation techniques in the multi level marketing world. If you can improve technique to make the learning curve as easy and painless as possible and sponsor people who want what you offer, then the result is motivation at work: In other words, motivating your downline becomes automatic.

MLM Rules: Popular Cereal To Be Handcuffed?

"FDA, hands up!"What do MLM rules have to do with cereal? And why would the Feds confiscate a breakfast food for violating them? It’s all about what the FDA and DSA (Direct Sales Association) calls illegal product claims, and misleading direct sales advertising practices.

Below is an excerpt from Gerald Nehra’s July issue of “The Law Firm Advisory” newsletter, a publication that is directed at network marketing and direct sales legal issues.

ITEM TWO: THE ACTUAL CASE THAT MAKES THE POINT
What point? – The point I have been making since I began advising direct sellers – A product can become a DRUG based on what you say about it:
Including CHEERIOS!!
The FDA has warned the maker of the country’s top-selling cereal to clean up its advertising. The FDA said ads promoting Cheerios as a drug that can “lower your cholesterol 4 percent in six weeks” violates the federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
The federal agency claims the language on the Cheerios box suggests the cereal is designed to prevent or treat heart disease. Regulators say that only FDA-approved drugs are allowed to make such claims. The FDA warns that if General Mills doesn’t “correct the violations,” it risks having its cheery-looking boxes seized by federal agents right off store shelves. In a letter to the chairman of General Mills, the FDA warned that the company’s marketing tactics “cause [Cheerios] to be a drug because the product is intended for use in the prevention, mitigation and treatment of disease.”
“Because of these intended uses, the product is a drug …” the FDA states. “Therefore … it may not be legally marketed with the above claims in the United States without an approved new drug application.” The letter claimed Cheerios is “misbranded” and that a Cheerios Web site, www.wholegrainnation.com, includes “unauthorized health claims” such as “Heart-healthy diets rich in whole grain foods can reduce the risk of heart disease.”
The problem, the letter said, is that the FDA-approved claim must also state that the heart-healthy diet contains “high in fiber-containing fruit, vegetable and grain products. …”
At the end of the letter, the FDA warned that offending boxes could be taken off the shelves.
“Enforcement action may include seizure of violative products and/or injunction against the manufacturers and distributors of the products. General Mills contended that the fuss is over a disagreement in semantics, not science, and that the health claims on Cheerios have been there for more than two years.
LESSON TO BE LEARNED – Claims make a product a drug

The confiscation of Cheerios may not bother you, but keep in mind the same laws quoted above apply to network marketers too. Distributors representing network marketing companies that sell nutritional products must be very careful how they word any ads to avoid getting into similar trouble.

What can a multilevelmarketing representative do to protect their business while advertising?

1, Use magnetic sponsoring (relationship building techniques) to develop your network marketing lead bas instead of trying to hype or sell
2. Refer prospects to personal use testimonials about how the product helped a customer
3. Use simple statements to draw interest like: “Try it, you might like it”, or, “It’ll make you feel like you’re 16 again, but with better judgment”
4. Offer third party authority flyers or brochures featuring case studies on the key ingredients

MLM rules are in place to protect the public from MLM scams and personal injury. As upline leaders it is our responsibility to ensure we and our downline understand those sales rules and work within their boundaries to build our work from home business. If you keep it simple by following the rules that govern multi level marketing companies, then you can build a profitable network marketing online opportunity with an unfettered residual income.

"Here chick, chick, chick!"Some of the best network marketing MLM training I have ever gotten was from watching our animals and grand daughters interact. My 6 year-old (McKaylah) and 3 year-old (Burgandy) are like night and day in many ways, just like people in multi level marketing companies.

One day Burgandy had all five Guinea foul around her as she sat on the lawn playing quietly. McKaylah saw this and tried to get these flighty birds to come to her like the cats and dogs do. She tried calling them, approaching them, walking behind them, and chasing them. Nothing seemed to work.

“I want to pet them, but they just won’t come to me”, she sobbed. After my wife Charlotte explained that she must let the birds come to her McKaylah kept doing the same thing and wondering why that did not work.

I thought about the two different approaches and noticed two things:

1. Just like the Guineas, business prospects do not like being pursued
2. If they are so inclined, both Guineas and opportunity seekers will come as long as they are allowed to make that choice on their own

Most network marketing company reps understand it makes no sense to keep doing something that does not work and expecting different results. Treating folks like business opportunity leads is a perfect example of this kind of insanity. They will run the other way every time … even if they are offered a free MLM.

However, some distributors insist, “What is wrong with this business?” A better question would be, “What did I miss?”

A magnetic sponsoring approach, one where people looking at network marketing companies are educated, and then allowed to make a decision on their own, is the way most top MLM professionals choose to build their business.

So what exactly is the difference between these multilevelmarketing leaders and entrepreneur wannabies? Leaders will:

1. Attend weekend trainings
2. Do three-way calls with their upline sponsor
3. Listen to training CDs
4. Go along with their sponsor while he / she is prospecting
5. Learn how to give a 1-minute presentation
6. Learn how to communicate with the four different personality types
7. Learn effective ice breakers to start conversations
8. Learn effective first sentences
9. Learn how to get people begging for a presentation
10. Learn how to speak to prospects’ subconscious minds
11. Etc., etc., etc.

Success conscious people don’t say, “This new MLM business is not working!” Instead, they focus their efforts on learning and implementing proven, duplicatable business building techniques in order to attract people to their business and downline team toward their dreams.

The best network marketing decision anyone can make is to choose to develop effective business building skills, and put them into action. An old MLM training expression puts it best, “When the student is ready the teacher will appear.”. Before concluding your MLM program needs to be fixed find out if you left out any of the important home business building skills.

I appreciate you,

Soup's on!If you wish to successfully create life changing impact on many people, no matter what the pursuit, then one of the top self-development skills you will need to learn is how to develop and use the mastermind.

Simply stated, to harness the mastermind principle three or more individuals focus their skills, energy, and resources on one thing as a unit. The principal principle here is strength in numbers.

Some examples of this collaboration are:

1. Placing several locomotive engines in tandem
2. Replacing a 50 foot antenna with one 100 feet high
3. Hunting in groups

Watch this video of dolphins hunting sardines. This is a textbook example of this action principle in nature. Note how this pod separates small clusters of their prey from the school to make them easier to catch.

What I found remarkable about this event was that while it was happening, sharks were feeding on these sardines right beside the dolphins. Under any other circumstances these two predators are mortal enemies. Sharks typically prey on young or sick dolphins, so dolphin pods instinctively attack them. In this case though, there was perfect synergy in motion.

This observation brought me to two additional conclusions about the power of the mastermind:

1. Abundance, even excess is produced
2. This sense of abundance eliminates fear of loss and death

MLM network marketing professionals use the mastermind to extend their reach beyond their own resources. If you ask them most will say this is one of the self-development skills they depend on the most. They don’t fear loss of prospects or customers when they enlist the energies of downline, upline, crossline, and sideline members because they know this technique creates abundant wealth for all who participate.

MLM Self-Development Skills Found In Nature

"OK, name your price ... but let me in!"I love to watch animals as they go about their daily activities. They can teach us a lot about ourselves. Two self-development skills I observed recently are the power of perception and how to use it to one’s advantage.

My wife and I have the beginnings of a small poultry ranch with: 11 chickens, two turkeys, and five Guinea foul. Since some birds were available first, and others were too young to be out, we’ve kept all contained … until now.

Our dog and two cats saw these creatures as they were brought to the property, so they weren’t strangers. However, I think our cat Sox thought they’d always remain in a coup. I say this because when he realized this noisome flock was loose in his territory he began franticly begging to be let into the house.

So what does this story have to do with self-development MLM? Everyone who wants to build a successful work at home business must understand the power of perception.

Sox was convinced these invaders were hazardous to his health. After a few hours getting accustomed to their presence he realized they have no interest in him at all. Network marketers are no different.

Success in MLM is completely about perception. If you believe something is an insurmountable obstacle, then that’s where you’ll end your home based business career.

Most people coming into a network marketing opportunity think they need to:

1. Defend their territory (clients and downline) against the competition
2. Show their home work business to everyone they see
3. Get in before anyone else
4. Bash other companies to make their own look better

I see people make these mistakes in multilevelmarketing all the time because their upline sponsor, some heavy hitter guru, told them that’s the way things work. The reality is , as Sox eventually realized , there’s plenty to go around.

Network marketing professionals know:

1. Fear, when given place in the mind, produces the exact thing one wants to avoid
2. The best way to prevent this is to embrace the positive emotion of sense of abundance so fear can’t enter the picture

These self-development skills are the foundation for building a stable, profitable business. Professional network marketers understand this, professional opportunity seeker recruiters don’t.

Simple MLM Tip – Spam Defense Tool

"I HATE junk mail!"If you use email or other social networking utilities, like Skype or Facebook for instance, then it is important to be aware of how to protect yourself from spammers. Network marketers and homebusiness seekers in particular find this simple MLM tip especially valuable because as the home business builder expression goes, “the money is in the list”. Whether you use online networking tools to keep up with friends and family, or to manage a multlevelmarketing downline team a spam defense tool is as important as a security alarm.

Spammers are people who secretly use contact lists like emailing, virtual telephone, and multilevel marketing contact lists other people have compiled for their own network marketing opportunities. “Phishing” as it is called, is used to extract information to spread viruses, disparaging remarks about others, or as in the example below to make money by marketing to a contact list someone else owns.

Recently a friend and networkmarketing business associate (I’ll call him “J”) advised me that one of our number (I’ll call him “B”) has been “harvesting” the mlm mailing list from the relationship building system we use to develop our work at home businesses. This means “B” stole confidential client emails, telephone numbers, etc. from this system. Then “B” spammed “J” and many others asking them to click on a confirmation link (to push a different homeworking opportunity).

What about anti spam filters? They only keep scammers from picking up your info from things like forwarded emails. A spam e-mail savvy crook knows how to get your name and such from other places (like “B” did above) and then write messages to get past anti-phishing filters used by email services.

So how can you know your online networking platform is being phished, and what can you do about it? I asked “J” and here’s what he told me:

1. “I did not click the confirmation link in ‘B’s’ email.”
2. “I looked at the very bottom where it says that I signed up with IP address 1.91.89.719.” (not the real IP)
3. “I discovered this IP is in Dallas, Texas. (also fictitious)
4. “I don’t live in Texas, so I couldn’t have opted-in to ‘B’s’ list.”
5. “I forwarded this email to spam@uce.gov and am letting the government take care of ‘B’s’ underhanded tactics.”

When I asked, “So J, how did you find out where this IP is located,” he told me I can do it in two ways.

1. “I use http://cqcounter.com/whois/ .”
2. “Alternatively, you can just type the IP address into Google’s search window.”
3. “There are a number of IP tracers you can use, but the first one seems most accurate.”

Real entrepreneurs know they don’t need to use these illegal money making schemes to create wealth. Plus, all of them will tell you that you should learn how to recognize unsolicited messages when they come your way, and how to use a phishing detection tool. The best simple MLM tip anyone can ever give you is to treat your opt-in data base like gold. After all, you built it and that is where the true residual income is.

I appreciate you,
